After a complete renovation in 2025, our second gîte will be available for rent from May 2026! We have furnished the perhaps 150-year-old Gîte Beau Cerisier in a rustic and cozy atmosphere, reusing authentic parts and materials.

We named Gîte Beau Cerisier after the centuries-old cherry orchard located on our farmyard, which you can partially overlook from the gîte; you couldn't wish for a more beautiful view!

From the terrace, you have a fantastic view over the rolling landscape with stunning sunsets. Surrounding the gîte is a spacious lawn and a cherry orchard overlooking the farmland and the forest edges! From the gîte, we have created a walking path to our neighbors across the street (Bassiviere Barn Chic), where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner in their beautiful restaurant. La Carretal is a working farm; we are busy in the vegetable garden, our future small park, or in the barn. Come and take a look if you have a minute to spare—we would love that!

The gîte is a simple but very rustic 2-person accommodation with a covered veranda with seating, a small living room with two comfortable chairs, and a simple open kitchen with a bar. From the living room, there is a narrow (!) passageway to the sleeping alcove with a good 1.4 x 2 m double bed and French doors opening onto the veranda.

The large bathroom with a walk-in shower, separate sink and toilet, and storage cupboard is accessible only via the covered veranda. Opposite the veranda is a semi-covered outdoor seating area with a lounge sofa, table, and barbecue. In the cherry orchard, you will find two garden chairs and a lovely hammock.

There is a dip pool measuring 4m x 2m x 1.1m that is used jointly with the other guests and residents.

• There is no heating, the doors and passageways are simple and narrow (!)
• Park at our farm in the separate parking area.
• Motorcycles can be stored in the barn upon request.

• Deposit and cancellation; The 50% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. We request the remaining balance no later than 4 weeks before arrival. In the event of cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged.
• We recommend taking out cancellation insurance with your travel insurance. Should it unexpectedly prove necessary, we can provide you with an invoice so that you can claim a refund of the rental amount through your insurance.
